We have used RF for data transfer since 2000 (Home RF and WIFI).

here are incomparable advantages, visible from the start of the inventory :

  • Facility fostered by RF with the loading of a reference base (verification file) on a large number of terminals, compared with a classic cable system.
  • Similarly, since inventory information is transmitted in RF between the terminal and controlled software, inventory input staff no longer have to move around; moreover there is no “emptying” queue on the controller software – hence time saved on the inventory and a foreseeable saving on inventory input staff time.

  • Less staff also means less TSPs being rented and easier management of the inventory.

  • It is possible to monitor the roll-out of the inventory almost instantaneously from the controller software indicator chart: as a result information on the performance and reliability of inventory input staff is quickly available to supervisors.

More reliable inventories :

  • Data transmission only takes place on validated, verified zones.
  • Verification is carried out in real time during the inventory.
  • The personnel in charge of verification, with a TSP, can verify input zones by simply reading off a few codes.

Faster inventories due to the simultaneous emptying process :

  • Information is transmitted directly from the input zone.
  • Radio frequency enables up to 100 machines to be emptied simultaneously by a PC.
  • Teams are evenly distributed over sectors in real time.

Productivity: No need to move around :

  • Inventory personnel do not lose time going back and forth to the PC: they are concentrated and remain in their sector – no unnecessary time lost.
  • As a result, no bottlenecks to empty out data, no waiting.
  • Productivity gains are in proportion to the site surface area.

Traceability and security :

  • Once information is transmitted to the PC, it nonetheless is still stored on the TSPs.
  • Real-time monitoring of the progress of sectors enables personnel to be controlled.

Loading of bases with up to 1,000,000 EANs :

  • Equipment with a large memory (8 Mb) and a particularly efficient processor.
  • Compression algorithms developed by our company.
  • Possibility of loading bases via Radio frequency at the last moment.

Note :
To optimise the inventory and manage unknown codes, it is essential that all references and EAN codes are listed in the TSPs.
